Trash Pick Up Schedule
This section provides clear information for residents on trash collection days and waste disposal requirements. Please follow these guidelines to ensure proper handling of household trash, recyclables, yard waste, and other items.
Tuesday: Kitchen Trash
Wednesday: Recyclables
Yard Waste following Recyclables
Friday: Kitchen Trash
Household Items following Kitchen Trash
ALL ITEMS MUST BE OUT BY 7:00 AM THE DAY OF PICKUP.
MAINTENANCE WILL NOT RETURN FOR PICKUP.
Yard Waste
Must be in a sturdy paper bag, tied securely OR
• May be put loosely in bins
• Bundles cannot contain branches larger than six inches in diameter.
• If bundles exceed six inches, they need to be cut down.
• Bundles four feet in length should be tied with heavy duty string.
• Bundles should not exceed 40 lbs.
You may put out the night before or the day of pickup only.
Kitchen Trash
Tuesday and Friday
• Trash/Garbage: Must be in plastic bags, tied appropriately, and put in a trash can, preferably a 32-gallon garbage can.
• Trash cans should not exceed 40 LBS.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR TRASH OUT UNTIL THE MORNING OF PICKUP
Recyclables
Includes the following: plastic, glass, tin cans, styrofoam, newspaper, and magazines
• Please rinse out all bottles, jugs, or cans to help avoid vermin.
You may put out the night before or the day of pickup only.
*** Don’t forget to save your aluminum cans for the men’s club! They will pick them up the first Monday of every month***
***Please put items scheduled for pickup out the night prior, as the maintenance team starts pickup at 7:15 a.m.***
Cardboard needs to be brought to the compound and placed into the CARDBOARD ONLY DUMPSTER
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
All items must be non-hazardous and less than 40 lbs. Flooring must be bundled and manageable. Carpeting must be cut into manageable rolls and tied. Cabinets must be broken down and bundled. All sharp fasteners must be removed from all materials and all materials must be bundled if possible.
Whole house cleanouts will not be picked up.
Outside contractors are responsible for removing their own construction waste.
Maintenance will pick up non-hazardous items up to 40 lbs. which the landfill will accept. This includes shareholder construction waste as long as it is not more than one room at a time with the exception of old flooring which must be bundled if possible. Carpeting must be cut into manageable rolls and tied. Cabinets must be broken down and bundled. All sharp fasteners must be removed from all construction materials.
Outside Construction contractors are responsible for removing their own construction waste. Whole house cleanouts require shareholder-provided dumpster.
